Every ad, post and email ends on your store. If the store leaks, every rupee you spend sending traffic to it leaks too. Before we scale ads for a brand, we run its Shopify store through this checklist.
Mobile first, always
- Open your store on a mid-range Android phone on mobile data — that’s what most of your customers see.
- Price, key benefit and the add-to-cart button should be visible without scrolling on product pages.
- Menus, filters and size selectors should be easy to tap with a thumb.
Product pages that answer questions
- Clear photos from every angle, plus at least one lifestyle or in-use image or video.
- Benefits before features, in short, scannable points.
- Size guides, materials, ingredients and care instructions where they matter.
- Delivery time, returns and COD availability shown near the buy button.
Trust signals
- Real customer reviews with photos, shown on product pages — not hidden on a separate page.
- Easy-to-find contact details, policies and an “About” story.
- Familiar payment options and secure checkout badges.
Speed
- Remove apps you no longer use — many leave code behind that slows every page.
- Compress and properly size images; use modern formats where possible.
- Check Core Web Vitals in Google Search Console and fix the worst pages first.
Checkout
- Offer guest checkout and keep form fields to the minimum.
- Show shipping costs early — surprise charges at checkout are a major reason for abandoned carts.
- Set up abandoned checkout reminders on WhatsApp and email.
Tracking
- GA4, Meta Pixel and Conversions API installed and firing once per purchase.
- UTMs on every campaign link, so you know which channel drove the sale.
- A simple weekly dashboard of sessions, conversion rate, average order value and revenue.
